FABRICATION
Chardon Welding started from humble beginnings as a small weld and repair shop previous to 1938 by the Knapp family. Since then Chardon Welding has grown, along with its sister company Fabcraft, Inc, and is being operated by the 2nd generation of the Svoboda family. With decades of experience in welding, metal fabrication, pipe and tube bending, as well as general repairs we can handle both small jobs for local residents to large national companies. Between our two companies we have shipped to all 50 states, except Hawaii!
Materials we frequently work with include steel, aluminum, stainless, exotics, and copper. Most of our welding is GTAW (TIG), but we do MIG and ARC, too. Our pipe and tube bending capabilities extend from ¼” OD to 10” OD, with most work falling in the 3/8” OD to 4”NPS range. Our raw material stock is generally around 50,000 pounds. With processing equipment ranging from a 55 ton iron worker, to a ¾ x 52” shear, mixing in various flame and plasma cutting equipment and some saws, most of our prep work is done internally. From here we can take it through our press brake, rolls, punch, even 3 mills and 2 lathes to manufacture your finished product.
